বিশেষ পর্যবেক্ষকদের অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন প্রতিবেদনের ভিত্তিতে নির্বাচন কমিশন শীতলকুলচি বিধানসভা কেন্দ্র, কোচবিহারের ১২৫ নম্বর বুথে ভোটগ্রহণ স্থগিতের নির্দেশ দিয়েছে। আজ বিকেল ৫ টার মধ্যে প্রধান নির্বাচনী কর্মকর্তার কাছে বিশদ প্রতিবেদন চাওয়া হয়েছে।
বিশেষ পর্যবেক্ষকদের অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন প্রতিবেদনের ভিত্তিতে নির্বাচন কমিশন শীতলকুলচি বিধানসভা কেন্দ্র, কোচবিহারের ১২৬ নম্বর বুথে ভোটগ্রহণ স্থগিতের নির্দেশ দিয়েছে। আজ বিকেল ৫ টার মধ্যে প্রধান নির্বাচনী কর্মকর্তার কাছে বিশদ প্রতিবেদন চাওয়া হয়েছে। আজ শীতলকুচিতে নিহত হন ৪ জন। কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনীর গুলিতে তাঁরা মারা গিয়েছেন বলে অভিযোগ। মোট মৃতের সংখ্যা ৫। অভিযোগ মৃতরা তৃণমূলের সমর্থক। তৃণমূল- বিজেপির সংঘর্ষ শুরু হয়। কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনী আত্মরক্ষার স্বার্থে গুলি চালায় বলে জানায় কমিশন। ক্ষুব্ধ তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস। দুঃখপ্রকাশ করেছে বিজেপি।
