শেখ শাহজাহানের (Sheikh Shahjahan) গ্রেফতারির পর বঙ্গে রাজনৈতিক চর্চা তুঙ্গে। এই নিয়ে রাজ্যের বিরোধী দলনেতা শুভেন্দু অধিকারীর (Suvendu Adhakari) দাবি, এটা গ্রেফতার নয়, এটা দুই পক্ষের মধ্যবর্তী সমঝোতা। যতক্ষণ না কেন্দ্রীয় সংস্থার হেফাজতে শাহজাহান আসছে, ততক্ষণ সন্দেশখালিবাসী (Sandeshkhali) ন্যায় পাবে না। জেলে শাহজাহানকে ফাইভ স্টার ফেসিলিটি দেওয়া হবে। জেলের মধ্যে ওকে ফোন দেওয়া হতে পারে এলাকা কন্ট্রোল করার জন্য। এদিকে, আজ হাইকোর্টের নির্দেশে সন্দেশাখালি যাচ্ছেন শুভেন্দু অধিকারী। অন্যদিকে, আজ সন্দেশখালির বাহুবলীকে বসিরহাট মহকুমা আদালতে তোলা হয়। সেখানে তাঁকে ১০ দিনের পুলিশি হেফাজতে নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
