Gorumara National Park: সঙ্গিনী দখলের লড়াইয়ের জেরে গরুমারা জাতীয় উদ্যানে গন্ডারের মৃত্যু
রবিবার রাতে উদ্যানের এক জলাশয় থেকে উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে মৃত গন্ডারের দেহ।
গরুমারা জাতীয় উদ্যানে (Gorumara National Park) একশৃঙ্গ গন্ডারের মৃত্যু। রবিবার রাতে উদ্যানের এক জলাশয় থেকে উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে মৃত গন্ডারের দেহ। একশৃঙ্গ গন্ডার মৃত্যুর কারণ হিসাবে বনমন্ত্রী জ্যোতিপ্রিয় মল্লিক জানাচ্ছেন, সঙ্গিনী দখলের লড়াইয়ের জেরে প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক পুরুষ গন্ডারটির মৃত্যু হয়েছে। জলাশয় থেকে গন্ডারটিকে তুলে এনে খবর দেওয়া হয়েছিল পশু চিকিৎসকদের। কিন্তু গন্ডারটি তাঁদের পৌঁছনর আগেই মারা গিয়েছে বলে জানান চিকিৎসক। ময়নাতদন্তের রিপোর্ট এলে মৃত্যুর কারণ স্পষ্ট হবে বলেন জানিয়েছেন বনমন্ত্রী।
