Mahalaya 2021: আজ মহালয়া (Mahalaya 2021)। পিতৃপক্ষের অবসান, দেবীপক্ষের শুরু। মহালয়া মানেই তর্পণ (Tarpana)। তর্পণের জন্য সকাল থেকেই ভিড় জমেছে কলকাতা ও জেলার গঙ্গার ঘাটগুলিতে। কোনও কোনও ঘাটে সকাল থেকেই তর্পণের জন্য পড়েছে লম্বা লাইন। কলকাতার প্রিন্সেপ ঘাটেও তর্পণ করার জন্য ভিড় জমান অনেকে।
