ভূতুড়ে ভোটার ইস্যু নিয়ে শনিবার সকাল থেকে রাজ্যবাসীর দুয়ারে দুয়ারে ঘুরছেন রাজ্যের নেতা মন্ত্রীরা। এমনকী এদিন সকাল থেকেই স্কুটিনি করতে রাজ্যের পুরমন্ত্রী তথা কলকাতার মেয়র ফিরহাদ হাকিমকে (Firhad Hakim) দেখা গিয়েছে নিজের ওয়ার্ডে। এই নিয়ে তিনি বলেন, "চোররা যখন চুরি করে তখন তাঁরা ভাবে যে পুলিশের চোখে ধুলো দিয়ে বেরিয়ে যাবে। কিন্তু পুলিশ তাঁদের ধরে ফেলেন। তেমনই বিজেপি ভেবেছে ভুয়ো ভোটার রাজ্যে ঢুকিয়ে ভোট করাবে। বিজেপির চুরি রাজ্য সরকার, পুলিশ প্রশাসন ধরবেই। সীমান্ত এলাকাতেও আমদের দল ভূতুড়ে ভোটারের বিষয়টি খতিয়ে দেখবে। আমি নিজে মালদা, মুর্শিদাবাদে যাব। ভোটার তালিকায় একটিও ভুয়ো ভোটারদের রাখব না"।
