আরজি কর (RG Kar Medical College and Hospital) কাণ্ডের প্রতিবাদে আজ শহরের রাজপথে নেমেছে বিনোদন দুনিয়ার একাধিক তারকা। দেব, আবির চট্টোপাধ্যায় থেকে অভিনেত্রী তথা বিজেপি নেত্রী রূপা গঙ্গোপাধ্যায়, র মতো ব্যক্তিত্বরা আন্দোলনকারীদের সঙ্গে যোগ দেন। পাওলি এদিন বলেন, "ন্যায় বিচার বিলম্বিত হলে চলবে না। আমাদের প্রতিবাদ করে যেতে হবে। এই শহরে আমি বড় হয়েছি। এখানে আমি কখনই নিরাপত্তাহীনতায় ভুগিনি। কখনও এরকম সমস্যা দেখা দেবে তা ভাবতেও পারিনি। কিন্তু ২০২৪-এ এসে দেখছি মহিলারা শহরে সুরক্ষিত নয়। অপরাধীর অবিলম্বে শাস্তি হওয়া উচিত"।
