দুর্দান্ত পারফরমেন্সের উপর ভর করে বুধবার আইবিএ মহিলা বিশ্ব বক্সিং চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের সেমিফাইনালে পৌঁছে গেলেন ভারতের তারকা মুষ্টিযোদ্ধা লাভলিনা বরগোহাই (Lovlina Borgohain), নিতু ঘনঘাস (Nitu Ghanghas),নিখাত জারিন (Nikhat Zareen) ও সুইটি বুরা (Saweety Boora)। ৭৫ কেজি ভারোত্তোলনে লাভলিনা পদক জিতেছেন গতবারের বিশ্বচ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের ব্রোঞ্জজয়ী মোজাম্বিকের রাডি গ্রামানের বিরুদ্ধে। ২০২২ কমনওয়েলথ গেমস চ্যাম্পিয়ন নিতু জাপানের মাদোকা ওয়াদার বিরুদ্ধে জয় লাভ করে। দু'বারের বিশ্ব চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের ব্রোঞ্জজয়ী থাইল্যান্ডের চুথামাত রাকসাতের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াইয়ের নিখাত জারিন জয় তুলে নেন। তিনবারের এশিয়ান পদকজয়ী সুইটি ২০১৮ সালের বিশ্ব চ্যাম্পিয়নশিপের ব্রোঞ্জ পদকজয়ী বেলারুশের ভিক্টোরিয়া কেবিকাভাকে পরাজিত করেন।
