চোটের জন্য চ্যাম্পিয়ন্স ট্রফিতে খেলেননি জসপ্রীত বুমরাহ। আইপিএলের শুরুতেও অনিশ্চিত ছিলেন বুমরাহ। যা চিন্তা বাড়িয়েছিল মুম্বই ইন্ডিয়ান্সের।বুমরাহ-র অনুপস্থিতিতে প্রথম দুটি ম্যাচেই হারের মুখে মুম্বাই ইন্ডিয়ান্স শিবির।তবে কবে বাইশ গজে ফিরবেন, সেই নিয়ে কিছুটা আশার আলো দেখা গেছে। চোটের কবল থেকে বেরিয়ে আসার আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা চালাচ্ছেন বুমরাহ। সম্প্রতি তিনি ন্যাশানাল ক্রিকেট একাডেমিতে ফিটনেস পরীক্ষা দিয়েছেন। সেখানে বুমরাহকে স্বাভাবিক রানআপে বোলিং করতে দেখা গিয়েছে। আপাতত তাঁকে দেখে ফিটই মনে করা হচ্ছে। কখনই অস্বস্তিতে পড়তে দেখা যায়নি। তিনি এনসিএ থেকে ছাড়পত্র পেয়ে গেলে সেটা মুম্বই শিবিরের জন্য সুখকর হবে। উল্লেখ্য বর্ডার-গাভাস্কার ট্রফি ২০২৪-২৫এ অস্ট্রেলিয়ার বিরুদ্ধে সিডনি টেস্টের সময় পিঠের নিচের দিকে চোট পাওয়ার পর বুমরাহ ক্রিকেট থেকে বাদ পড়েছিলেন।
