সেন্ট্রাল ভিস্তার নয়া অশোক স্তম্ভ (Ashok Stambh) ঘিরে জোর শোরগোল শুরু হয়েছে প্রায় গোটা দেশ জুড়ে। মোদী সরকারের আমলে যে নতুন অশোক স্তম্ভ তৈরি করা হয়েছে, সেখানকার সিংহ ধীর, স্থিতধী নয়। সারনাথের সিংহের মত তাদের মুখে স্থিতধীর কোনও লক্ষ্মণ নেই। ফলে কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রীরা কেন নয়া অশোক স্তম্ভের মূর্তিকে সমর্থন করছেন, তা নিয়ে প্রশ্ন তোলেন বাবুল সুপ্রিয়। নয়া অশোক স্তম্ভের সিংহের যে মুখ তা ঠিক করা হোক বলেও দাবি করেন বাবুল সুপ্রিয়।
