পাঞ্জাবের (Punjab) ফ্লাইওভারে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীর (PM Narendra Modi) কনভয় ২০ মিনিট ধরে আটকে পড়ায়, প্রায় গোটা দেশ জুড়ে জোর শোরগোল শুরু হয়ে যায়। প্রধানমন্ত্রীর কনভয় ২০ মিনিট ধরে ফ্লাইওভারে আটকে থাকায় কেন্দ্রীয় স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রক পাঞ্জাবের কংগ্রেস সরকারের বিরুদ্ধে নিরাপত্তায় গাফিলতির অভিযোগ তোলে। বিষয়টি নিয়ে এবার প্রকাশ্যে সরব হলেন কেন্দ্রীয় মন্ত্রী স্মৃতি ইরানি। পাঞ্জাবের ঘটনা নিয়ে সাংবাদিক সম্মেলন করেন স্মৃতি ইরানি। তিনি বলেন, প্রধানমন্ত্রীর গাড়ি আটকে থাকার ঘটনা এর আগে কখনও ঘটেনি। নরেন্দ্র মোদীকে কংগ্রেস ঘৃণা করে, এ কথা আমরা জানি। কিন্তু কংগ্রেস আজ ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রীর ক্ষতির তচেষ্টা করেছে বলে অভিযোগ করেন স্মৃতি ইরানি (Smriti Irani)।
