Train Accident: বালেশ্বরের ট্রেন দুর্ঘটনায় বাংলায় সবথেকে বেশি ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ সুন্দরবন এলাকার যাত্রীরা
দুর্ঘটনাগ্রস্থ ট্রেনটিতে বাংলা থেকে বেশিরভাগ যাত্রী সুন্দরবন এলাকার ছিল বলে জানা গেছে
ওড়িশার বালেশ্বের ঘটা ট্রেন দুর্ঘটনার জেরে এখনও পর্যন্ত বাংলার বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে ওই ট্রেনে যাত্রী থাকলেও সবথেকে বেশি দুর্ঘটনাগ্রস্থ হয়েছেন সুন্দরবন এলাকার যাত্রীরা। দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার অর্ন্তগত সুন্দরবনের বহ মানুষ ওই ট্রেনটিতে যাচ্ছিলেন বলে জানা গেছে।
দুর্ঘটনায় মোট আহত ১০০০ ছাড়িয়েছে। শনিবারেই ঘটনাস্থল পরিদর্শনে গিয়েছিলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দোপাধ্যায়। পরিস্থিতি খতিয়ে দেখেন তিনি। ঘোষণা করেন ক্ষতিপূরনের।
বাংলার পাশাপাশি চেন্নাই এবং অন্যান্য রাজ্যের মানুষও ট্রেনটিতে ছিলেন বলে জানা গেছে। তাদের যত দ্রুত সম্ভব স্পেশাল ট্রেনের মাধ্যমে বাড়ি পাঠানোর ব্যবস্থা শুরু করেছে রেল কর্তৃপক্ষ।
