TDS: ১১ বছরের মধ্যে আয়কর বিভাগে আমূল পরিবর্তন, আবেদন করলেন টাকা পাবেন ১৭ দিনের মাথায়

বেসরকারি সংস্থার কর্মী, প্রবীণ নাগরিক, বিনিয়োগকারী, কমিশন উপার্জনকারীদের আয়ের কিছু টাকার টিডিএস (TDS) কেটে নেয় সরকার। সেই টাকা রিটার্নের জন্য নতুন আর্থিক বছর শুরু হওয়ার পর অনেকেই আবেদন করেন। যদিও আবেদন করার পর তিন মাস অপেক্ষা করতে হত আবেদনকারীদের। গড়ে ৯৩ দিনের মতো সময় লাগত। কিন্তু চলতি অর্থবর্ষে রেকর্ড গড় আয়কর বিভাগ। আবেদন করার ১৭ দিনের মধ্যে টাকা পেয়ে গেলেন টিডিএস রিটার্নের আবেদনকারীরা, ২০১৩ থেকে ১১ বছর সময় লাগল সময়সীমা বদলের। মূলত, ডিজিটাল পরিকাঠামো উন্নত, অনলাইন লেনদেনের সুবিধা হওয়ার কারণেই ১৭ দিনের মাথায় আবেদনকারীরা রিটার্ন পেল বলে দাবি আয়কর বিভাগের।
