অত্যাধিক বৃষ্টিপাতের জেরে তামিলনাড়ুতে বন্যা পরিস্থিতি।বৃষ্টির জেরে আটকে পড়া মানুষদের উদ্ধারকার্যে নামানো হয় বিপর্যয় বাহিনীর দলকে। তামিলনাড়ুর পীরকানকারানাইয়ের তামবারম এলাকা থেকে ১৫ জনকে উদ্ধার করা হয়।
তামিলনাড়ুতে প্রবল বৃষ্টির জেরে বিপর্যস্ত যানবাহন চলাচল। বেশিরভাগ এলাকায় নিমজ্জিত হয়েছে জলে। এই পরিস্থিতিতে সাধারণ মানুষদের সাহায্যার্থে এগিয়ে এসেছেন বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলা বাহিনীর সদস্যরা।
