নয়াদিল্লিঃ তামিলনাড়ুতে(Tamil Nadu) ফের হাতির(Elephant) দাপট। হাতির আক্রমণে মৃত্যু দুই ব্যক্তির। সোমবার ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে তামিলনাড়ুর আরুলমিগু সুব্রমান্য স্বামী মন্দিরের কাছে। জানা গিয়েছে, মৃত দুই ব্যক্তির মধ্যে একজন হাতিটির মাহুত আর একজন মাহুতের আত্মীয়। এই দুইজনের উপর আচমকাই চড়াও হয় ওই হাতিটি। থুথকুরি বনদফতরের অফিসার রেবথি রমন জানিয়েছেন, হাতিটির নাম দেইভানি। বয়স ২৬। বেশ শান্তু স্বভাবের হাতি বলেই পরিচিত ছিল সে। কেন হঠাৎ এই ধরনের ঘটনা ঘটাল সে তা নিয়ে ভাবাচ্ছে সকলকে।
