আজ ত্রিপুরার আগরতলা-সহ ১৩টি পুরসভার নির্বাচন (Tripura Municipal Election 2021)। পুর নির্বাচনের ভোটগ্রহণ শুরু হয়েছে সকাল সাতটা থেকে। চলবে বিকেল চারটে পর্যন্ত।
ত্রিপুরায় (Tripura) অবাধ ও শান্তিপূর্ণ নির্বাচন নিশ্চিত করতে আরও দুই কম্পানি অতিরিক্ত কেন্দ্রীয় বাহিনী (CAPF) পাঠানোর নির্দেশ সুপ্রিম কোর্টের (Supreme Court)। কেন্দ্রীয় স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রককে এই নির্দেশ দিয়েছে শীর্ষ আদালত। ব্যালট এবং ভোট গণনা কেন্দ্রের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করতে প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা নিতেও কেন্দ্র এবং ত্রিপুরা সরকারকে নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন বিচারপতি ডি ওয়াই চন্দ্রচূড়।
