রাজনৈতিক স্বার্থ দেখে ভারত রত্ন দেওয়ার অভিযোগ সঞ্জয় রাউতের
রাজনৈতিক উদ্দেশ্য দেখেই ভারত রত্ন দেওয়া হয়েছে। এমন অভিযোগ আনলেন শিবসেনা(ইউবিটি) নেতা সঞ্জয় রাউত। তিনি জানান,"রাজনৈতিক সুবিধা দেখে ভারত রত্ন পুরষ্কার দেওয়া হচ্ছে। আইন হচ্ছে বছরে ৩ জনকে একসঙ্গে ভারত রত্ন পরষ্কার দেওয়া যায়। ৫ জনকে দেওয়া হচ্ছে। এগুলি শুধুমাত্র রাজনৈতিক সুবিধা দেখে দেওয়া হচ্ছে। চৌধুরী চরন সিংকে ভারত রত্ন পুরষ্কার দেওয়া হচ্ছে কেননা তারা চায় জয়ন্ত চৌধুরী তাদের দলে যোগ দিক।"
যদিও ভারত রত্ন দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্তকে অনেক বিরোধী দলনেতা স্বাগত জানিয়েছেন।
