প্রবল বৃষ্টির পর কেরলের বেশ কিছু জায়গায় বন্যা। ভগবানের আপন দেশ হিসেবে পরিচিত দক্ষিণের এই রাজ্যের আলপ্পুঝা জেলার বিভিন্ন জায়গা জলের তলায়। সাধারণ মানুষ সেখানে নৌকায় চড়ে যাতায়াত করছেন। বেশ কয়েকটি পরিবারকে ত্রান শিবিরে পাঠানো হয়েছে। বৃষ্টি বাড়ার পাশাপাশি জলাধারগুলি থেকে জল ছাড়ায় পরিস্থিতি আরও খারাপ হয়েছে।
