Tripura Waqf Act Protest: ওয়াকফ প্রতিবাদের আগুন বিজেপি শাসিত ত্রিপুরাতেও, জখম ৭ পুলিশ কর্মী

মুর্শিদাবাদে হিংসা নিয়ে নিয়ে গোটা দেশ তোলপাড়। এরই মাঝে নয়া ওয়াকফ আইনের প্রতিবাদে ত্রিপুরা (Tripura) কার্যত আগুন জ্বলল। আক্রমণের মুখে পড়তে হল রাজ্যে পুলিশ কর্মীদেরও। বিজেপি শাসিত উত্তর পূর্ব ভারতের এই রাজ্যের উনাকোটি জেলায় বড় উত্তেজনা তৈরি হল। উত্তর ত্রিপুরার উনাকোটির জেলার কাইলশাহহারে নয়া ওয়াকফ আইনের প্রতিবাদে বড় মিছিল বের হয়। সেই আন্দোলনেই উত্তেজনা ছড়ায়। উত্তেজনার মাত্রা বাড়লে দু'পক্ষের মধ্যে হাতাহাতি শুরু হয়। আন্দোলনকারী-রা চড়াও হন পুলিশ কর্মী ও নিরাপত্তাকর্মীদের ওপর। সাতজন পুলিশ কর্মী হামলায় জখম হন বলে খবরে প্রকাশ। ঘটনাটিকে কেন্দ্র করে এলাকায় উত্তেজনা ছড়ায়।
