দিনকয়েক আগে আরএসএসের এক নেতা সংরক্ষণের অধিকার নিয়ে বিরুপ মনোভাব পোষণ করেছিলেন। তাঁর দাবি ছিল, সংরক্ষণ করা বিচ্ছিন্নতাবাদীদের প্রশ্রয় দেওয়ার সমান। বৃহস্পতিবার আপ সাংসদ সঞ্জয় সিং (Sanjay Singh) এর পাল্টা বক্তব্য পেশ করেন। তাঁর মতে, বাবাসাহেব আম্বেদকরের মতো ব্যক্তিত্বরা বলেছেন, সংরক্ষণ বিশেষ সুযোগ দেওয়ার একটি নীতি। সমাজে যাঁরা প্রতিনিয়ত নিপীড়িত হচ্ছেন, যাঁরা প্রান্তিক শ্রেনীর মানুষ, তাঁদের উন্নত করার অধিকার এই সংরক্ষণ। এদের বক্তব্যের মাধ্যমেই পরিস্কার হচ্ছে যে বিজেপি এবং আরএসএস মানসিকতা কতটা নিম্নমুখী।
