ধর্মান্তরণের অভিযোগে মিশনারি স্কুলে ঢুকে ভাঙচুর চালাল দক্ষিণপন্থী ভাবধারার একদল উন্মত্ত জনতা। তাদের অভিযোগ, ওই স্কুলের আটজন ছাত্রকে খ্রিষ্টান ধর্মে দিক্ষীত করা হয়েছে। যদিও ধর্মান্তরণের অভিযোগ অস্বীকার করেছে ওই স্কুল। জানা গেছে, যখন দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির পড়ুয়ারা অংক পরীক্ষা দিচ্ছিলেন, তখনই উত্তেজিত জনতা স্কুলে ঢুকে পড়ে ভাঙচুর চালায়। অজ্ঞাত পরিচয় লোকজনের বিরুদ্ধে রায়টের অভিযোগ এনে ভারতীয় দণ্ডবিধির নির্দিষ্ট ধারায় মামলা রুজু করেছে পুলিশ।
