Wayanad Landslide: দুর্গম এলাকায় উদ্ধারকাজে গিয়ে আটকে পড়েছিল ৩ সদস্য, কপ্টারে করে উদ্ধার করল যৌথ বাহিনী

ওয়েনাড়ে এখনও অব্যাহত উদ্ধারকাজ। এখনও জল, কাঁদা থেকে উদ্ধার হচ্ছে মৃতদেহ। এমনকী উদ্ধারকারী দলের অনেকেই দুর্গম জায়গা থেকে বেরোতে পারছেন না। তাঁরাও আটকে পড়েছে বিভিন্ন এলাকায়। শনিবারর এমনই ছবি দেখা গেল সুজিপাড়া জলপ্রপাত () এলাকায়। জানা যাচ্ছে এই জায়গাটিও ভূমিধসের কারণে ব্যাপকভাবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ হয়েছে। পর্যটকদের কাছে এই ঝরনা এলাকা অন্যতম আকর্ষণ ছিল। কিন্তু দুর্যোগের কারণে এই জলপ্রপাতের একাংশ নষ্ট হয়েছে। আর এখানেই মানুষজনদের উদ্ধার করতে এসেছিলেন উদ্ধারকারী দলের তিন সদস্য। সাধারণদের উদ্ধার করার পর তাঁরা ওখানে আটকে যায়। এরপর প্রায় কয়েকঘন্টা পর ভারতীয় সেনা (Indian Army), বিমান বাহিনী ও কোস্ট গার্ডের (Indian Coast Guard) সদস্যরা এসে তিন সদস্যকে উদ্ধার করে মেপাড়ি কন্ট্রোল সেন্টারে নিয়ে যায়। সকলেই সুস্থ রয়েছেন বলে জানিয়েছে প্রশাসন।
