দেশে আয়কর জমা দেওয়ার নয়া রেকর্ড। গত বছরের থেকে 9 শতাংশ বেশি আয়কর রিটার্ন জমা পড়ল। ২০২৩-২৪ সালের ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত ইনকাম ট্যাক্স return জমা পড়েছে। পাশাপাশি এক কোটি 60 লক্ষ অডিট রিপোর্ট এবং অন্যান্য ফর্ম ফিলাপ করা হয়েছে।
ইনকাম ট্যাক্স রিটার্ন জমা দেয়ার ক্ষেত্রে AIS সুবিধার ব্যাপক ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। আইটিআই জমা করার জন্য যে ই ট্যাক্স পেমেন্ট প্লাটফর্ম চালু করা হয়েছে তার সুবিধাও দারুণভাবে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে। ৩১শে ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত ই-ফাইলিং হেল্প ডেক্স টিম প্রায় ২৭ লক্ষ ৩৭ হাজার প্রশ্ন বা অনুসন্ধানের জবাব দিয়ে আয়কর দাতাদের সুবিধা করে দিয়েছেন।
