এ দিন রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্ক অব ইন্ডিয়ার গভর্নর সঞ্জয় মালহোত্রা জানান, মনিটারি পলিসি কমিটি সর্বসম্মতিতেই রেপো রেট কমানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে।
পাঁচ বছর পর অবশেষে রেপো রেট কমাল রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্ক। মনিটারি পলিসি কমিটির বৈঠকের শেষে ৬.৫০ শতাংশ থেকে রেপো রেট ২৫ পয়েন্ট কমানোর ঘোষণা করে রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্ক অফ ইন্ডিয়া। নতুন ঘোষণার পর এখন রেপো রেট কমে দাঁড়াল ৬.২৫ শতাংশ। অর্থনীতিতে গতি আনতেই রেপো রেট কমানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে বলেই জানান আরবিআই গভর্নর সঞ্জয় মালহোত্রা। এ দিন রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্ক অব ইন্ডিয়ার গভর্নর সঞ্জয় মালহোত্রা জানান, মনিটারি পলিসি কমিটি সর্বসম্মতিতেই রেপো রেট কমানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে।
