ঝাড়খণ্ডের প্রথম দফার পাশাপাশি আজ সকালে শুরু হয়েছে কেরালার ওয়ানাড লোকসভার উপনির্বাচন। রাহুল গান্ধীর ছেড়ে দেওয়া আসনে প্রার্থী হওয়া কংগ্রেস প্রার্থী প্রিয়াঙ্কা গান্ধী ভাদ্রা ওয়ানাডে সকাল থেকেই ভোট কেন্দ্র পরিদর্শন করছেন। সকাল ৭টা থেকে শুরু হওয়া কেরালার ওয়েনাড লোকসভা কেন্দ্রে বাম গণতান্ত্রিক ফ্রন্ট (এলডিএফ) সত্যেন মোকেরিকে প্রার্থী করেছে এবং নব্য হরিদাসকে প্রার্থী করেছে বিজেপি। ভোট কেন্দ্র পরিদর্শন করে কংগ্রেস প্রার্থী প্রিয়াঙ্কা গান্ধী বলেছেন, "আমার প্রত্যাশা হল ওয়েনাডের জনগণ আমাকে তাদের দেখানো ভালবাসা এবং স্নেহ শোধ করার এবং তাদের জন্য কাজ করার এবং তাদের প্রতিনিধি হওয়ার সুযোগ দেবে। আমি আশা করি সবাই তাদের গণতান্ত্রিক অধিকার প্রয়োগ করবে এবং ভোট দেবে..."
