দলে দলে এগিয়ে চলেছে কচ্ছপ। ওড়িশার বেরহামপুর উপকূলে ক্রমশই দীর্ঘ হচ্ছে কচ্ছপের সারি। এই প্রসঙ্গে জেলার বনকর্তা অম্লান নায়েক (Amalan Nayak, DFO, Berhampur) বলেছেন, বাসা বাঁধার জন্য এখানে মোট ২ লক্ষ ৪২ হাজার কচ্ছপ এসেছে।
