নয়াদিল্লি: কানাডার টরন্টোতে জগন্নাথের রথযাত্রার (Rath Yatra) সময় ভক্তদের উপর ডিম ছোঁড়ার ঘটনায় উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করেছেন বিজেডি সভাপতি নবীন পট্টনায়েক (BJD president Naveen Patnaik)। তিনি এই ঘটনার তীব্র নিন্দা জানিয়েছেন এবং এই ঘটনার তদন্ত ও দোষীদের শাস্তির দাবি জানিয়েছেন।
এক্স হ্যান্ডলে পোস্টে পট্টনায়েক বলেন, ‘কানাডার টরন্টোতে রথযাত্রা উদযাপনের সময় ভক্তদের উপর ডিম ছোঁড়ার খবর শুনে গভীরভাবে মর্মাহত। এই ধরনের ঘটনা কেবল বিশ্বব্যাপী ভগবান জগন্নাথের ভক্তদের অনুভূতিতে গুরুতর আঘাত করে না, বরং ওড়িশার মানুষের কাছেও গভীর বেদনার বিষয়…।’
