চলতি বছরের প্রথম দিনে ৭.৬ মাত্রার ভয়াবহ ভূমিকম্পে কেঁপে উঠেছিল জাপানের নোতো প্রদেশ। ভয়াবহ ভূমিকম্পের প্রভাবে সুনামিও ধেয়ে এসেছিল জাাপনে।
Japan Earthquake 2024: চলতি বছরের প্রথম দিনে ৭.৬ মাত্রার ভয়াবহ ভূমিকম্পে কেঁপে উঠেছিল জাপানের নোতো প্রদেশ। ভয়াবহ ভূমিকম্পের প্রভাবে সুনামিও ধেয়ে এসেছিল জাাপনে। সেই ভূমিকম্পে ২৩৩ জন মারা যান, আহত হন তিন শতাধিক। তাসের ঘরের মত বহু বাড়ি ভেঙে পড়ে। জাাপনের একাংশ জুড়ে ধ্বংসলীলা চালিয়ে যায় ভূমিকম্প। ভূমিকম্পের পর জাপানের ধ্বংসস্তুপের ছবি দেখে আঁতকে উঠেছিল বিশ্ব। এখন হিসেব করে দেখা যাচ্ছে. বছরের প্রথম দিন হওয়া এই ভূমিকম্পে জাপানের ১৭ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলারে গিয়ে দাঁড়াতে পারে।
আবার নতুন করে ভূমিকম্প কবলিত অঞ্চল আগের মত করে তুলতে বিপুল খরচ করতে হবে জাপানকে। গত বছর তুরস্ক ও সিরিয়ায় হওয়া ভয়াবহ ভূমিকম্পে ৪ বিলিয়ন মার্কিন ডলারের ক্ষতি হয়েছিল।
