Rajasthan: ধর্মীয় মিছিলে পাথর ছোড়া ঘিরে সাম্প্রদায়িক অশান্তি, পুলিশের হস্তক্ষেপে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে

শনিবার বিকেলে রাজস্থানের জাহাজপুরে (Jahazpur) রাম রেভারির উৎসবের পদযাত্রা ঘিরে শুরু হয় সাম্প্রদায়িক অশান্তি। অভিযোগ, ভিলওয়ারা এলাকার একটি জামা মসজিদের পাশ দিয়ে যাওয়ার সময় ওই মিছিলে পাথর নিক্ষেপ করা হয়। আর তারপরেই দুই গোষ্ঠীর মধ্যে ঝামেলা শুরু হয়। ঘটনাস্থলে চলে আসেন স্থানীয় বিধায়ক গোপীচন্দ মীনা। তিনি এসে মিছিলে যোগদান দেওয়ার মানুষদের পাশে দাঁড়ান এবং তারপরেই পরিস্থিতি আরও উত্তপ্ত হয়। অবশেষে ঘটনাস্থলে চলে আসে স্থানীয় পুলিশ। সূত্রের খবর, ইতিমধ্যেই কয়েকজনকে আটক করা হয়েছে। পাশাপাশি পুলিশি হস্তক্ষেপে নিয়ন্ত্রণেও আসে পরিস্থিতি। তবে পরবর্তীকালে পরিস্থিতি আর যাতে উত্তপ্ত না হয় তাই এলাকায় এখনও পুলিশি নিরাপত্তা রয়েছে।
