১৫ একর অনুর্বর জজমিতে জঙ্গলে পরিণত করল পুদুচেরির (Puducherry) টেগোর গভর্নমেন্ট আর্টস অ্যান্ড সায়েন্স কলেজ। গত পাঁচ বছরে অনবরত বৃক্ষরোপণের ফলে আমরা ৫ হাজার গাছের শশুরের বন তৈরি করেছি, যেখানে ২০-২৫ রকম প্রজাতির পাখি আসে বিভিন্ন সময়ে। একথা বলেন কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ শশীকান্ত দাস।
