Bangladesh: ওপার বাংলার জেল থেকে মুক্তি পেতে চলেছে ৯৫ জন ভারতীয় মৎসজীবী, এপার থেকেও ছাড়া হবে একাধিক বাংলাদেশিকে

জলসীমা লঙ্ঘনের অপরাধে ভারত ও বাংলাদেশ দুই দেশের নিরাপত্তা বাহিনী একাধিক মৎসজীবীকে সম্প্রতি আটক করেছিলেন। এরপরেই দুই দেশের পক্ষ থেকে তাঁদের ছাড়ানোর জন্য আলোচনা শুরু করে। অবশেষে মিলল রফাসূত্র। আগামী ৫ জানুয়ারী বাংলাদেশ কর্তৃপক্ষ ছাড়তে চলেছেন ৯৫ জন ভারতীয় মৎসজীবীকে (Indian Fishermen)। অপরদিকে ওইদিনই ভারত সরকার ৯০ জন বাংলাদেশি মৎসজীবীকে জেলমুক্তি করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে। এর আগে অবশ্য পশ্চিমবঙ্গের জেল থেকে মুক্তি দেওয়া হয়ছিল ১২ জন মৎসজীবীকে। সেই সময় থেকেই ৯৫ জন ভারতীয়কে দেশে ফেরানো নিয়ে উঠে পড়ে লেগেছিল কেন্দ্র সরকার। এমনকী এই নিয়ে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ও তৎপর হয়েছিলেন।
