ফের রাশিয়া সফরে যাচ্ছেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী (Narendra Modi)। রুশ প্রেসিডেন্ট ভ্লাদিমির পুতিনের (Vladimir Putin) আমন্ত্রণে ব্রিকস সম্মেলনে (BRICS Summit) যোগ দিতে দু দিনের জন্যে রাশিয়া যাবেন নমো। ২২-২৪ অক্টোবর পর্যন্ত রাশিয়ার কাজানে ১৬'তম ব্রিকস সম্মেলনের (16th BRICS Summit) আয়োজন করেছে রাশিয়া। ২২ এবং ২৩ অক্টোবর ভারতের প্রতিনিধি হয়ে সেখানে উপস্থিত থাকবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। মোদীর দুদিনের রাশিয়া সফরের কথা প্রকাশ করে এদিন বিদেশ মন্ত্রকের তরফে আরও জানানো হয়েছে, রাশিয়ার কাজানে ব্রিকস সম্মেলনের সদস্য দেশ এবং আমন্ত্রিত নেতাদের সঙ্গে দ্বিপাক্ষিক বৈঠকেও বসবেন মোদী।
