MGNREGA : এমজিএনআরইজি-তে বাজেট ছাঁটাই, প্রকল্পের প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবসে কেন্দ্রের কড়া সমালোচনায় কংগ্রেস

২০০৫ সালের ২৩ শে অগাস্ট ইউপিএ-র হাত ধরে চলা শুরু এমজিএনআরইজিএ -র। প্রতিষ্ঠা দিবসে এই প্রকল্পের বাজেট ছাঁটাই করা নিয়ে এবার কেন্দ্রীয় সরকারের কড়া সমালোচনা করলেন কংগ্রেস প্রেসিডেন্ট মল্লিকার্জুন খাড়গে।
একটি টুইটের মাধ্যমে তিনি জানান, যদিও মোদী সরকারের পক্ষ থেকে এই প্রকল্পে ৩৩ শতাংশ বাজেট ছাঁটাই করা হয়েছে তবুও কংগ্রেসের তৈরী এই প্রকল্প ১৮ টি রাজ্যের প্রায় ১৪.৪২ কোটি মানুষকে এখনও সমর্থন যোগায়।যার ম্ধ্যে অর্ধেকেরও বেশি মহিলা। কোভিড পরিস্থিতিতে যেখানে ৮০ শতাংশ মানুষের রোজগার নষ্ট হয়ে গিয়েছিল।সেখানে লকডাউনের সময় এই প্রকল্প জীবনদায়ী হিসেবে কাজ করেছে বলে জানান তিনি।
