'খেলাকে খেলার মত করেই ভাবা উচিত। খেলাকে কখনও অপরাধের সামিল করে গণ্য করা উচিত নয়। এমনই ক্রিকেট বিশ্বকাপের ফাইনালে যখন অস্ট্রেলিয়া জিতে যায়, তখন হাসতে দেখা যায় প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদীকেও। তাহলে কাশ্মিরীদের উপর থেকে এই প্রশ্ন চিহ্ন কবে উঠবে?' ক্রিকেট বিশ্বকাপের সময় কাশ্মীর বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ৭ ছাত্র ভারত বিরোধী স্লোগান দেওয়ায় তাঁদের বিরুদ্ধে যে ইউএপিএ চার্জে অভিযোগ দায়ের করা হয়, তার প্রেক্ষিতেই এবার এমন মন্তব্য করলেন পিডিপি প্রধান মেহবুবা মুফতি। ইউএপিএ সরানো উচিত দেশ থেকে। দেশের যুব সমাজের জীবন এভাবে নষ্ঠ করা উচিত নয় বলে মন্তব্য করেন কাশ্মীরের প্রাক্তন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। পাশাপাশি বিজেপি নিরাপত্তাহীনতায় ভুগছে। সেই কারণেই বিজেপি ভুল সিদ্ধান্ত নিচ্ছে বলেও মন্তব্য করেন পিডিপি প্রধান।
