কেন-বেতোয়া নদীর সংযোগকারী জাতীয় প্রকল্পের শিলান্যাস করবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। এটি দেশের প্রথম দুই নদীর সংযোগকারী প্রকল্প। মধ্যপ্রদেশ এবং উত্তরপ্রদেশের বিভিন্ন জেলার লক্ষাধিক কৃষক পরিবার এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে সেচের সুবিধা পাবেন।
প্রাক্তন প্রধানমন্ত্রী অটল বিহারী বাজপেয়ির জন্ম শতবর্ষ উপলক্ষে খাজুরাহে একগুচ্ছ উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পের সুচনা ও শিলান্যাসের কর্মসূচী নিয়ে প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদী আজ মধ্যপ্রদেশ যাচ্ছেন।কেন-বেতোয়া নদীর সংযোগকারী জাতীয় প্রকল্পের শিলান্যাস করবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। এটি দেশের প্রথম দুই নদীর সংযোগকারী প্রকল্প। মধ্যপ্রদেশ এবং উত্তরপ্রদেশের বিভিন্ন জেলার লক্ষাধিক কৃষক পরিবার এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে সেচের সুবিধা পাবেন। এছাড়া ঐ অঞ্চলে পানীয় জলের সুবিধাও এই প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে পৌঁছে দেওয়া হবে।
আজ মধ্যপ্রদেশ সফর চলাকালীন অটল বিহারী বাজপেয়ীর জন্ম শতবর্ষের স্মরণে প্রধানমন্ত্রী ডাক টিকিট এবং মুদ্রাও প্রকাশ করবেন।
