কলকাতার আরজি কর-কাণ্ড হাসপাতালে (RG Kar Hospital) জুনিয়র মহিলা চিকিৎসককে ধর্ষণ এবং খুনের ঘটনায় উত্তাল গোটা দেশ। এরই মাঝে উত্তরপ্রদেশের কানপুরে (Kanpur) ৭ বছরের এক শিশুকে যৌন নির্যাতনের অভিযোগ উঠল ৭০ বছরের এক বৃদ্ধের বিরুদ্ধে। অভিযুক্ত বৃদ্ধের শিশুটিকে ধর্ষণের চেষ্টার একটি ভিডিয়ো ভাইরাল হয়েছে নেটমাধ্যম। কানপুর পুলিশ ওই বৃদ্ধকে গ্রেফতার করেছে। অভিযুক্তের কঠোরতম শাস্তির দাবি তুলেছে নেটবাসী।
