যোশীমঠের (Joshimath) পরিস্থিতি নিয়ে আশঙ্কা ক্রমশ তীব্রতর হচ্ছে। বুধবার যোশীমঠে নতুন করে ৭২৩টি বাড়িতে ফাটল দেখা দেয়। ফলে যোশীমঠ থেকে যুদ্ধকালীন পরিস্থিতিতে ১৩১টি পরিবারকে সরানো হয়েছে। যোশীমঠের পাশাপাশি কর্ণপ্রয়াগের বহুগুনা নগরেও বেশ কয়েকটি বাড়িতে ফাটল ধরতে দেখা যায়। যা নিয়ে দেবভূমিতে নতুন করে আতঙ্ক ছড়ায়। দেবভূমির যে সমস্ত বাড়িতে ফাটল দেখা যায়, তাঁদের ১.৫০ লক্ষ করে ক্ষতিপূর্ণ দেওয়া হবে বলে ঘোষণা করা হয় বুধবার। বাড়ির পাশাপাশি যোশীমঠে যে দুটি হোটেলকে বিপদজ্জনক বলে ঘোষণা করা হয়, তা এখনই ভাঙা হচ্ছে না। এমনই জানান উত্তরাখণ্ডের মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর সচিব মীনাক্ষী সুন্দরম।
