ভারতের আবহাওয়া বিভাগ (IMD) দেশব্যাপী মৎসজীবিদের জন্য পাঁচ দিনের একটি সতর্কতা জারি করেছে। হাওয়া অফিস তাঁর সতর্কবার্তায় বলেছে যে আরব সাগর এবং বঙ্গোপসাগরে ঝোড়ো হাওয়া এবং ৪৫-৫৫ কিলোমিটার প্রতি ঘণ্টায় শক্তিশালী বাতাস বইতে পারে। তাই এই ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ সমুদ্রের অবস্থার উপর সতর্কতা জারি করে তারা আগামী ৫ দিন মৎস্যজীবীদের আরব সাগর এবং বঙ্গোপসাগরে যেতে নিষেধ করেছে। উল্লেখ্য, পাঁচ দিনের জন্য সতর্কতা জারি করা হয়েছে আজ ৩০ অগস্ট থেকে।
