কানাডার (Canada) সঙ্গে দ্বিপাক্ষিক সম্পর্কের পারদ ক্রমশ উর্দ্ধমুখী। খালিস্তানি ইস্যুতে কানাডার সঙ্গে দ্বিপাক্ষিক সম্পর্কের পারদ যখন চড়ছে, সেই সময় নতুন করে পরমাণু-ক্ষেপনাস্ত্রসম্পন্ন সাবমেরিন (Nuclear Missile Submarine ) সামনে আনল ভারত (India)। পরমাণু শক্তিসম্পন্ন ব্যালিস্টিক মিসাইল রয়েছে, এমন ডুবোজাহাজকে সামনে এনে গোটা বিশ্বের সামনে ফের নিজের শক্তি প্রদর্শন করছে ভারত। যদিও এই পরমাণু শক্তিসম্পন্ন সাবমেরিন নিয়ে কোনও মন্তব্য করেনি মোদী সরকার। রীতিমত মুখ বন্ধ রাখা হয়েছে মোদী সরকারের তরফে। প্রসঙ্গত গত ১৬ অক্টোবর পরমাণু শক্তিসম্পন্ন এই সাবমেরিনের প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে ভারতের প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রকের তরফে।
