নয়াদিল্লিঃ ভারী বৃষ্টি(Heavy Rain) এবং ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের (Cyclone)কারণে মাথায় হাত তামিলনাড়ুর(Tamil Nadu) চাষিদের(Farmers)। বিশেষ করে ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন হয়েছেন মাদুরাইয়ের(Madurai) চাষিরা। নষ্ট হ্যে গিয়েছে প্রচুর পরিমাণ শস্য। খেত ছেয়েছে পোকায়। নষ্ট হয়ে গিয়েছে প্রায় ১০০ একর জমি। এক কথায় বছর শেষে লাভের মুখ তো দূর উল্টে মারাত্মক লোকসানের মুখে পড়তে হচ্ছে চাষিদের। যা নিয়ে উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করেছেন তাঁরা।
