H3N2 ভাইরাসে প্রথম মৃত্যুর খবর মিলল। কর্ণাটক (Karnataka) এবং হরিয়ানায় (Haryana) পরপর দুজনের মৃত্যু হল H3N2 ভাইরাসে সংক্রমণের জেরে। ইতিমধ্যে গোটা ভারত জুড়ে H3N2 ভাইরাসে ৯০ জনের সংক্রমণের খবর মেলে। H3N2 ভাইরাসের পাশাপাশি H1N1 ভাইরাসেও সংক্রমণের খবর মিলছে।
