৫২তম জিএসটি কাউন্সিলের বৈঠকের পর নানা বিষয়ে জানালেন কেন্দ্রীয় অর্থমন্ত্রী নির্মলা সীতারমনের। ময়দায় জিএসটি নিয়ে কেন্দ্রীয় অর্থমন্ত্রী জানালেন, ৭০ শতাংশ বাজরা থাকা ময়দা খুচরোভাবে বিক্রি করা হলে কোনও জিএসটি দিতে হবে না। তবে প্যাকেজিং বা প্যাকেটে বিক্রি হলে তাতে ৫ শতাংশ জিএসটি লাগু হয়েছে।
গুড়ের ওপর জিএসটি ৫ শতাংশ থেকে কমিয়ে ২৩ শতাংশ ধার্ষ করা হয়েছে। আখচাষীরা এতে উপকৃত হবেন বলে দাবি করেন নির্মলা সীতরামণ। পাশাপাশি এতে গবাদী পশু পালনেও খরচ করবে বলে তাঁর দাবি।
