Haj 2023: হজ যাত্রার জন্য ১ লক্ষ ৪০ হাজার জনকে বাছল কেন্দ্র, আছেন ৪ হাজার মহিলা
চলতি বছর পবিত্র হজ যাত্রার জন্য ১ লক্ষ ৪০ হাজার তীর্থযাত্রীদের বিশেষ প্রক্রিয়ার মাধ্যমে বেছে নিল কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার।
চলতি বছর পবিত্র হজ যাত্রার (Haj Yatra) জন্য ১ লক্ষ ৪০ হাজার তীর্থযাত্রীদের বিশেষ প্রক্রিয়ার মাধ্যমে বেছে নিল কেন্দ্রীয় সরকার। চলতি বছর ভারত থেকে হজে যাওয়ার জন্য জমা পড়েছিল মোট ১ লক্ষ ৮৪ হাজার আবেদন। তার মধ্যে থেকে ব়্যান্ডম ডিজিটাল সিলেকশান প্রক্রিয়ার (Random Digital Selection process) মাধ্যমে বেছে নেওয়া হয় ১ লক্ষ ৮৪ হাজার জনকে। এঁদের মধ্যে আছেন ৪ হাজার মহিলা তীর্থযাত্রী।
হজ যাত্রীদের সফল আবেদনকারীদের তালিকায় আছেন ৭০ বছরের বেশী বয়সী ১০ হাজার ব্যক্তি। সৌদি আরবের জেড্ডায় হজযাত্রার জন্য ভারতের বহু ধর্মপ্রাণ মুসলিম আবেদন করে থাকেন। এ বছর হজযাত্রার তারিখ ২৬ জুন থেকে ১ জুলাই। আরও পড়ুন-

Govt selects 1.40 lakh pilgrims to perform #Haj this year through the Random Digital Selection process. Out of the total selected pilgrims, over 10,000 persons are of above 70 years of age. Over 4,000 pilgrims are women. Govt has received a total of 1.84 lakh applications.
