Mumbai Airport: মুম্বই বিমানবন্দর থেকে উদ্ধার বিলুপ্ত প্রজাতির প্রাণী, পাচার করতে গিয়ে গ্রেফতার মালেশিয়ার এক নাগরিক
ফের মুম্বই থেকে উদ্ধার বিলুপ্ত প্রজাতির বন্যপ্রাণী। বৃহস্পতিবার ছত্রপতি শিবাজী মহারাজ আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে ব্যাংকক থেকে আসা একটি ফ্লাইটে এক যাত্রীর থেকে উদ্ধার হয়েছে দুটি সিলভারি গিবন।
ফের মুম্বই থেকে উদ্ধার বিলুপ্ত প্রজাতির বন্যপ্রাণী। বৃহস্পতিবার ছত্রপতি শিবাজী মহারাজ আন্তর্জাতিক বিমানবন্দরে (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport) ব্যাংকক থেকে আসা একটি ফ্লাইটে এক যাত্রীর থেকে উদ্ধার হয়েছে দুটি সিলভারি গিবন। যার মধ্যে একটির মৃত্যু হয়ে গিয়েছিল। আরেকটিকে সুস্থ অবস্থায় উদ্ধার করে মুম্বই বিমানবন্দরে কর্মরত কাস্টমসের আধিকারিকরা। জানা যাচ্ছে, ছোট প্রজাতির এই বানরগুলি ইন্দোনেশিয়ার জাভা দ্বীপে বেশি দেখতে পাওয়া যায়। তবে এই প্রজাতি এখন বিলুপ্তির পথে। তদন্তে নেমে আধিকারিকরা জানতে পেরেছে, আটক হওয়া ব্যক্তি মালেশিয়ার নাগরিক। সে ইন্দোনেশিয়া থেকে ব্যংকক ঘুরে এদেশে ওই বন্যপ্রাণীগুলি পাচার করতে এসেছিল। কিন্তু শেষমেশ তাঁর থেকে গিবনগুলি উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে।
