রাষ্ট্রপতিকে নিয়ে অবমাননাকর মন্তব্যের পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে দায়ের করা হল মামলা।মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে দিল্লির মুখ্যমন্ত্রী অরবিন্দ কেজরিওয়াল এবং কংগ্রেসের প্রেসিডেন্ট মল্লিকার্জুন খাড়গের বিরুদ্ধে।
পার্লামেন্টের নতুন ভবন নিয়ে কেন্দ্র বনাম বিরোধী তরজা তুঙ্গে। যার জেরে অনুষ্ঠান বয়কটের ডাক পর্যন্ত দিয়েছেন বিরোধী দলের নেতারা। তাঁদের দাবি নরেন্দ্র মোদী নয় পার্লামেন্টের নতুন ভবনের আনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করানো হোক রাষ্ট্রপতির মাধ্যমে।রাষ্ট্রপতিকে দিয়ে করানো উচিত ছিল বলে একযোগে জানিয়েছে বিরোধী দলের নেতারা।
দায়ের করা হয়েছে বিভিন্ন ধারা। যার মধ্যে রয়েছে (u/s 121,153A,505 and 34 IPC) ধারাগুলি।
