Lok Sabha Election 2024: তীব্র দাবদাহের কারণে ভোটগ্রহণের সময়সীমা পরিবর্তন করল জাতীয় নির্বাচন কমিশন
তেলেঙ্গানায় বাড়ানো হল নির্বাচনের (Lok Sabha Election 2024) সময়সীমা। মূলত, তাপমাত্র অত্যাধিক মাত্রায় বৃদ্ধি হওয়ার কারণেই এই সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে জাতীয় নির্বাচন কমিশন। জানা যাচ্ছে, আগামী ১৩ মে এই রাজ্যে ৩৪টি আসনে নির্বাচন রয়েছে। তবে তাপমাত্রা বৃদ্ধি কারণে অনেকেই নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে এসে ভোট দিতে পারবে না। সেই কারণেই ভোটদানের সময় আরও ১ ঘন্টা বাড়িয়ে দেওয়া হল। অর্থাৎ এতদিন সকাল ৭টা থেকে বিকেল ৫টা পর্যন্ত ভোটগ্রহণ পর্ব চলছিল। কিন্তু এখন আগামী চতুর্থ পর্বের নির্বাচন থেকে বিকেল ৫টার পরিবর্তে ৬টা করল নির্বাচন কমিশন। অর্থাৎ সকাল ৭টা থেকে বিকেল ৬টা পর্যন্ত চলবে ভোটগ্রহণ পর্ব।
