Earth Hour 2022: ইন্ডিয়া গেট,রাষ্ট্রপতি ভবন থেকে হাওড়া ব্রিজ- আলো নিভিয়ে আর্থ আওয়ার পালন
পরিবেশ বাঁচাতে, প্রকৃতিকে উজ্জ্বল রাখতে বিশ্বজুড়ে আজ, শনিবার পালিত হচ্ছে আর্থ আওয়ার।
পরিবেশ বাঁচাতে, প্রকৃতিকে উজ্জ্বল রাখতে বিশ্বজুড়ে আজ, শনিবার পালিত হচ্ছে আর্থ আওয়ার (Earth Hour 2022)। প্রতি বছর মার্চের শেষ শনিবার পালিত হয় এই বিশেষ দিনটি। এ দিন বিশ্বের বিখ্যাত স্থাপনাসহ বহু মানুষের বাড়িতে প্রায় ঘন্টাখানেক আলো নিভিয়ে রাখা হয়। সেই কারণে আজ দিল্লির ইন্ডিয়া গেট, রাষ্ট্রপতি ভবন থেকে কলকাতার হাওড়া ব্রিজ, মুম্বইয়ের বিএমসি অফিসের আলো অনেকটাই নিভিয়ে ফেলা হয়। রাত সাড়ে ৮টা থেকে আসড়ে ৯ পর্যন্ত আলো নেভানো হয়। ঘন্টাখানেক বিদ্যুৎতের ব্যবহার বন্ধ থাকায় কার্বন ফুটপ্রিন্ট কমানোর পাশাপাশি শক্তিরও সঞ্চয় হয়। আরও পড়ুন:কয়েক মিলি সেকেন্ডের ব্যবধানে ২ বার পথ দুর্ঘটনায় মৃত্যুর হাত থেকে রক্ষা! দেখুন ভিডিও
