কাতারের এমির শেইখ নাওয়াফ আল আহমেদ আল জাবের আল শাবার মৃত্যুতে এবার দিল্লিতে অবস্থিত কাতারের দূতাবাসে গেলেন বিদেশমন্ত্রী এস জয়শঙ্কর। ১৬ ডিসেম্বর প্রয়াত হন কাতারের এমির সেখ নাওয়াফ আল আহমেদ আল জাবের আল শাবা।
তাঁর জায়গায় স্থলভাষিক্ত হন ক্রাউন প্রিন্স সেইখ মেশাল আল আহমেদ আল জাবের আল শাবাহ। রাষ্ট্রপতি এবং প্রধানমন্ত্রীর শোকপত্র নিয়ে কাতারে পাঠানো হয়েছে কেন্দ্রীয় পেট্রলিয়াম এবং গ্যাস মন্ত্রী হরদীপ সিং পুরীকে।
