শুক্রবার ভোরে স্থলভাগে আছড়ে পড়বে প্রবল শক্তিশালী ঘূর্ণিঝড় (Cyclone) ডানা (Dana)। ২৩ অক্টোবর ডানা ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের রূপ নিয়েছে। ২৫ অক্টোবর সকালে তা স্থলভাগে আছড়ে পড়তে পারে বলে আশঙ্কা করা হচ্ছে। ফলে মৎস্যজীবীরা যাতে সমুদ্রে না যান, সে বিষয়ে জারি করা হচ্ছে সতর্কতা। উপকূলরক্ষী বাহিনী সমুদ্রে নেমে মাইকিং করে মৎস্যজীবীদের সতর্ক করা হচ্ছে। জানা যাচ্ছে, ওড়িশার ভিতরকণিকা এবং ধর্মা বন্দরের মাঝে পড়বে ডানা। ফলে তার আগে থেকেই সমুদ্রে থাকা মৎস্যজীবীদের সতর্ক করে ফিরিয়ে আনার চেষ্টা করছে উপকূলরক্ষী বাহিনী।
