Rajasthan: যাত্রীর ব্যাগ খুলতেই চমকে গেলেন কাস্টমস অফিসাররা, উদ্ধার হল একাধিক বিশাক্ত সরীসৃপ

বিদেশী সরীসৃপ পাচার করতে গিয়ে কাস্টমস আধিকারিকদের হাতে গ্রেফতার হলেন দুই ব্যক্তি। শুক্রবার জয়পুর বিমানবন্দরে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে। এই ঘটনায় ইতিমধ্যেই দুজনকে গ্রেফতার করেছে পুলিশ। তাঁদের ব্যাগ থেকে উদ্ধার হয়েছে কমপক্ষে ৯ রকমের বিদেশী সরীসৃপ। এর মধ্যে কর্ন স্নেক (Corn Snake), অ্যালবিনো স্নেক (Albino Snake), গ্রিন ইগুয়ানা লিজার্ডের (Green Iguana Lizard) মতো দুর্লভ সরীসৃপ ছিল বলে জানা গিয়েছে। যাত্রীরা ব্যাংকক থেকে ভারতে এসেছিল। আগে থেকে খবর পেয়েই অভিযুক্তদের ওপর নজর রাখছিলেন কাস্টমসের তদন্তকারী আধিকারিকরা। বিমানবন্দরে নামার পরেই তাঁদের হাতেনাতে ধরা হয়েছে।

Rajasthan | Customs officials at Jaipur airport intercepted two passengers coming from Bangkok and seized around 9 reptiles including Corn snake, Corn snake, Albino snake and Green iguana lizard from them. Further investigation is underway.
