রাজ্যপাল পদটি তুলে দেওয়ার দাবি জানিয়ে রাজ্যসভায় ব্যক্তিগত সদস্য বিলের আওতায় নোটিস দিলেন ভারতের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টির সাংসদ বিনয় বিশ্বম।
দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই ভারতের বিভিন্ন রাজ্যে রাজ্যপাল (Governor) পদের যৌক্তিকতা নিয়ে প্রশ্ন উঠেছে। অনেক ক্ষেত্রে কেন্দ্রের ক্ষমতা আসীন রাজনৈতিক দল নিজেদের স্বার্থসিদ্ধির জন্য বিরোধী দলের রাজ্য সরকারগুলিকে বিপদে ফেলতে নিজেদের অনুগত মানুষদের এই পদে বসিয়েছে বলে অভিযোগ। পশ্চিমবঙ্গেও বাম এবং তৃণমূল আমলে এই ধরনের অভিযোগ করেছে রাজ্যের শাসকদলরা।
এবার বহুলচর্চিত এই রাজ্যপাল পদটি তুলে দেওয়ার দাবি জানিয়ে রাজ্যসভায় (Rajya Sabha) ব্যক্তিগত সদস্য বিলের (Private Member's Bill) আওতায় নোটিস (Notice) দিলেন ভারতের কমিউনিস্ট পার্টির সাংসদ বিনয় বিশ্বম (CPI MP Binoy Viswam)।
